A regulated nervous system is an essential component of resistance. This workshop will blend somatic breathing practices and energetic safety techniques with guided meditation to help serve you, your community, and the collective good.

Our external world is an environment shaped by systems of oppression intended to destabilize, exhaust, and overwhelm us. This often leads to burnout and anxiety, and it can foster a sense of hopelessness, despair, and disempowerment. The prolonged and chronic stress of these experiences impacts our nervous system, diminishing our ability to maintain a stable, grounded foundation and respond safely to adversity. A regulated nervous system is an essential component of resistance. This workshop will provide you with tools to build and sustain a resilient nervous system. We will blend somatic breathing practices and energetic safety techniques with guided meditation to help serve you, your community, and the collective good. The skills provided in this workshop will help you respond to external pressures with clarity, strength, and adaptability. 

Much of this workshop will happen in a meditative state. It may be useful, but not required, for you to prepare your space to support your comfort in whatever way works best for you.  This workshop is useful for individual and group practice.
